    What a swaddle is for

    A sleeping bag replaces the blanket, so nothing can slide over the face during the night. The tog rating is what you choose on. You may see the same thing called baby swaddle, blankets and swaddles and infant swaddle.

    Choosing a swaddle

    Choose on room temperature. Around 18–21°C, a 1.0 tog bag over a short-sleeved bodysuit is usually right; below that, move up to 2.5 tog; above 24°C, 0.5 tog is enough. Materials in this range: cotton, fleece, muslin and polyester. Prices from £14.90.
